A chemical bond is formed with the paintwork creating a 9h surface hardness while the optically clear ceramic coating offers superior resistance to fine scratching and swirl marks caused by washing. Gloss levels of the treated surface remain high in the 90th percentile for a lot longer compared to generic traditional paint protection sealants.

The protective coating has been proven to resistant to acids and chemicals ranging from pH2 to pH12. Contaminants such as road tar, tree sap, bird droppings and water spots are a lot easier to remove as they cannot penetrate the ceramic coating. Unlike mainstream organic polymer coatings and waxes, Gtechniq paint protection can resist UV rays and extreme temperatures from -40° to 250°c.
